Terms of Service (New Zealand)
Welcome to Humma (“we”, “us”, “our”). LIJIT Limited T/A Humma operates this online store and website, including all information, content, features, tools, products and services offered through it (collectively, the “Services”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Services and constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Brewe Limited. Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence) to use the Services.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account or placing an order, and to maintain the confidentiality of your login details. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2 – OUR PRODUCTS
We make every effort to display our products accurately, but colours and finishes may vary depending on your screen and settings.
All product descriptions, prices and availability are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or refuse orders at our discretion.
- Humma sells collagen-infused mouth tape.
- Safety Disclaimer: If you have sensitive skin, we recommend patch testing before first use. Humma products are intended for external use only.
3 – ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs only when Humma confirms your order and receives payment in full.
We may decline or cancel any order for any reason, including stock unavailability or suspected fraudulent activity.
All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.
All products sold are for personal use only and not for resale or export.
4 – PRICES, PAYMENT AND BILLING
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
You agree to provide valid and up-to-date billing and payment details.
If your payment method is declined, we may cancel your order.
5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Once goods are handed to the carrier, risk and title pass to you.
We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA) apply and are not limited by these Terms.
6 – CONSUMER RIGHTS & REFUNDS
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under New Zealand law.
If a product is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a remedy under the CGA.
- Opened products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method minus shipping costs.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the product is faulty.

7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Humma website, including text, images, logos, product names, and designs, displayed on the Services are owned by or licensed to LIJIT Limited T/A Humma or its partners and are protected under New Zealand and international law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
8 – THIRD-PARTY TOOLS AND LINKS
Our Services may include links or integrations with third-party tools or websites.
We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or actions. Use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
LIJIT Limited T/A Humma is powered by Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform but is not a party to your purchase. All sales and transactions are solely between you and Humma.
10 – PRIVACY
Your personal information is collected, used and stored in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and our Privacy Policy.
Shopify also processes certain data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.
By using our Services, you consent to this processing.
11 – FEEDBACK
Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by LIJIT Limited T/A Humma for business purposes without obligation to compensate you.
You warrant that your feedback does not infringe others’ rights or contain unlawful material.
12 – ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
From time to time, our site may contain errors or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing or availability.
We reserve the right to correct these at any time, including after an order has been placed.
13 – PROHIBITED USE
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Services to engage in illegal, fraudulent or abusive behaviour;
- Upload harmful code or attempt to disrupt the website;
- Misrepresent your identity; or
- Infringe upon intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.
14 – TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time without notice if you breach these Terms.
Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law will survive termination.
15 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Except as required under New Zealand law (including the CGA and FTA), the Services and products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
16 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law: LIJIT Limited T/A Humma, its directors, employees, agents and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss arising from your use of the Services or products purchased, except as required under the CGA.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any rights you have under New Zealand consumer law.
Humma is not responsible for misuse of products or failure to follow safety instructions.
17 – INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LIJIT Limited T/A Humma and its affiliates from any loss or damage arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of applicable law.
18 – SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
19 – WAIVER & ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
These Terms, together with our policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Humma.
20 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights without notice.
21 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Humma Services will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
22 – CHANGES TO THE TERMS
Humama may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on our website. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
